Italian Car Enthusiasts’ Club will be having a Members' Drive on the 29 th March. As always, this will be a ‘fun drive’ that will constitute a lot of ‘driving’ and will come as a much needed chance for members to try out new moves and manoeuvres, in their Italian stallions, that were on the books for some time. The drive will kick off from the Fiat showrooms on Park Road, Colombo 5 at 2.30 pm and will take the drivers, through Baseline Road, Kaduwela via Parliament Road, Biyagama, to the Kandilla in Delgoda. Once there, evening tea and plenty of Italian Car talk will surely be there. 9 th annual Volkswagen Beetle Owners' Club Pride of Ownership Drive will be happening on the 30 th March. The Drive will kick off from the Colombo Hilton at 9 am and make it's way to Hotel Aqua Palma, Pamunugama. The cars will be flagged off in a single file, separated by a 30 second interval from one another, and will make their way to Jaela via the Negombo Road. At the hotel, lunch will be served followed by a tech demonstration, fellowship and award presentation. Most members of the Beetle Owners' Club and their families are expected to participate in this event. Classic Car Club will be conducting a rally for their members on 30 th March. It will kick off at 8.30am from Green Path, Colombo and will travel to Hotel Pegasus Reef in Wattala. The rally will stick to the main road as much as possible to avoid unnecessary delays and to give the cars and their drivers an easier time driving around. Estimated time of arrival at the hotel will be around 10.30am and lunch will be served thereafter at 12.30pm.
