The deep down south was once again shaken and stirred by roaring engines, whistling turbos and exploding exhaust as the annual Carlton Supercross for the year 2010 was held on the 21st of March 2010 at the Ceylon Autodrome in Tissamaharama. Organised by the Tharunyata Hetak Foundation and conducted by the Motor Racing Association (MRA), this is the fifth consecutive year of an event that has become an integral part of the sports scene in the south. A main aspect of the annual Carlton Sports Festival, this year’s event too brought together both local and foreign riders and drivers and was witnessed by action hungry spectators numbering in the thousands.
